Church Casual to overdressed for work...

Top: Forever 21
Shorts: Jessica Simpson
Belt: Forever 21
Necklace: Charming Charlie's

Although this outfit was incredibly easy to  put together
(I just changed shorts after church) it seems as if I had forgotten that I don't actually work at a trendy boutique  but instead a gym where an outfit like this is met with a sea of questions. I got asked multiple times if I had a hot date after work, which even if I did I would not be wearing this outfit for a night out with a perspective beau,  In picking my outfits I tend to lean towards, as I said in my last post confident and comfortable. If what you are wearing doesn't make you feel both of these then dig back into that closet girl, and find something that does! There is no reason to be walking around during the day feeling uncomfortable and constantly checking yourself  in passing a strategically placed mirror or building window on the street (you know we all do it). There are many ways to be comfortable in what you are wearing without it being the newest athletic shorts or leggings, try something new... go shopping and if you see something that you would NEVER wear pick it up and go try it on. Who says you Have to buy it? Just go see what it looks like; you may be surprised. Next buy something that fits you! Ignore the label.. who cares if that adorable shirt only looks good in a large? This is one of the biggest steps i have had to overcome with my journey to being confident with myself and the things I wear.  I used to weigh  almost two hundred pounds , I would find myself buying clothes that were too small and put focus on the parts of my body that I hated most.  Now that i have lost what seems to be a small child I find that if  a large shirt fits me in all the right places who cares? Buy what looks good, and don't dwell on what the tag reads.

Church Casual

                                                                                     Shirt: Forever 21
Pants: Bealls
Shoes: Online Boutique
Accessories: Charming Charlie's

This Sunday I took to my closet with church casual in mind, meaning that I still look absolutely fabulous without being dressed to the nines in my Sunday best. With a little bit of patience, and ending up with half my closet on my floor, I finally paired together what is now my favorite outfit. I started with this adorable white tank top which has white floral embroidery on the front, which you cannot see in the picture, then I made it a must to wear  my favorite pair of patterned red crop pants, last thing left to do was to accessorize! I thought I would step out of the box and add a mint statement necklace (who doesn't love mint) and finish the look off with my favorite pair of brown/ black wedges. I love being able to feel confident and comfortable in every outfit I put together, and this outfit lived up to both expectations.
